Hey all!
I am Casey, and I reside in FL. I have an affliction called JEEP-Just Empty Every Pocket.
I have a 98 TJ that I am in the process of building to be a capable off-road vehicle in most all situations...not a rock crawler or mudder per se, just an all around capable rig that I can drive to and from the trails.
I recently purchased my wife a 97 XJ after her car went belly up. We will be building this up to be an expedition vehicle for adventures like driving to Alaska, Driving the continental divide, and others....and then I will be buying her a honda accord LOL
We are laid back folks who enjoy driving and touring...and sharing adventures together.
I am an avid Jeeper, and look forward to your help/assistance/encouragement on this XJ build, as I have no real idea about expedition travel, other than watching the camel trophy...but I like the style of the folks here..I like the out doors and offroad, and am not into breaking my rig just because..failure is one thing, stupidity is another...I do not suscribe to the notion that: "Its a Jeep, its ok if it looks like hell, its SUPPOSED to be trashed"...just not my style.
I look forward to learning about this style of wheeling and your commentary on my build as it progresses.
See you on the forums!
