i like different but honda always puts out some odd styles, this looks real similar to the old xr rally bikes, with the extra tank under the seat, i like what the italians are doing with the honda style a little better

I am kinda liking it, first one of the new "beak" styled bikes, that isn't too bad.

Looks like the HM and this new one are using a super moto front fender.

I guessing the pods on the side of the engine are fuel tanks?

non of those,,, i tried looking for it but my google-**** is not adequate. i remeber it being ridden on the beach, it was at least 7-8 yrs ago and i'm sure it was an xr not a crf. it had a real similar look to this fairing, but not clear top and not the late model lights, it did have the under seat acerbis tank, i think it was the first time i saw that tank.

you are using the term new beak style bike loosely i'm sure as it was suzuki that originated the beak on a dirty bike far as i know with the DR.big back in the late 80's.

and i think the "tanks" on the crf are oil and tool tanks, rally requirement.

Ah yeah you might be right on the "tanks"...could be water as well...or all three.

Yeah, using the term "beak" loosely. The super moto fender they are using, amplifies the nose on it a bit, it isn't too bad...not as bad as this one.

yup thats the one!, looks like a rocket bike with that fairing combined with the rear tank set-up. was waiting for an afterburner or something when i first saw it.
