New M416 Trailer

I just got a M416 trailer and it is in great shape. I do have some questions before I start the build.

I want to run either 33 or 35 inch tires. I expect the only way to do this is a SOA.

1. What shocks, manufactuer and part number are people using once the do the SOA??

2. Do I switch out the C Shackle for a new H type shackle? If so what size shackle should I get?

3. Will I need to move the fenders or cut them to fit the tires?

4. I want to switch axle and need to know what length to order knowing the wheels will be backspaced approx 3.75 inches?

5. Will I need to move the shock mounting locations?

Any other advise that some can offer is appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

I run 33 in tire on my M-416 without a SOA. The stock fenders will not work though.

The length of the shock is a problem when doing a SOA. I think the best way to do it if you go SOA is to relocate the shock mounts and use about the same length shock.2.

Yes, the stock fenders are to small to cover a 33 in tire.

4. I want to switch axle and need to know what length to order knowing the wheels will be backspaced approx 3.75 inches?

When I put 33 in tires on the stock axle with a wheel of 3.75 BS it still had plenty of room to the tub. When I ordered my axle I had them make it an inch longer on each side

5. Will I need to move the shock mounting locations?

If you plan to do a SOA I would.
