New Member - First Post - Budget Trailer Build

Been lurking for some time. Thanks to everyone for all the ideas. I'm on the downhill side of my build now. I was on a tight budget but I did a lot of craigslist scavaging and am pretty excited about my cheap budget build!

I started with what was left of an m416 off of Craigslist.


Then added a framework which I bedlined.



Skinned it with treadbrite and added a linear actuator off of eBay with wireless remote control to open the lid.


Added an ARB tent that I also got off of Craigslist.


A few things left to add but almost ready to hit the trails.

Wow, quite the before and after! Thanks for sharing. Great idea using the linear actuator. Do you like it? How are you supplying power to it? Up close pics would be appreciated! Again, great work.

I dig it! I would have much rather built something like this if a RTT would have suited our needs.
