Had an excellent experience doing business with EarthCruiser I wanted to share. I run my FG with OEM 16" rims & duels & needed new tires - Lt235/85R16 Yokohama Y742S are the OEM tires, great traction but I'm @ max gross weight on the front and Nevada is 99% rock so I'm only getting 20K on the fronts - overall very happy with them . The Yokohama's are unavailable and the nearest match are Toyo M55's - Best local (mounted etc.) price for M-55's was 342.00 each. Got to wondering what EarthCruiser does with the OEM take-offs on their super single conversions...turns out they were wondering the same thing. I bought a full set of 6 for 187.00 each with shipping (Bend to Oakland, CA).
Bit nervous buying "used" tires sight unseen - upshot was everything worked out - tires maybe had 30 miles on them, they arranged the shipping and all communication was fast & honest. Pleasure doing business with them. Michelle was my contact - what can I say, she answers her phone...
Only downside is I now have 6 extra FG rims...Maybe time for a seriously butch windchime? Find a Pagan who needs 6 fire pits? Well that's my problem... Moe
