Hello all, this is my first post on this website. Well after some time deciding on what i wanted my next project toy to be since my last one was "taken" away from me. I have decided to get a older suburban and as luck would have it i found one only a few miles away from my work. Thats my wife in the picture replacing the wiper blades.
I know she's got some rust on her but now that i got her running right i can now focus on the bodywork and the door latches. 1988 GMC Suburban Sierra Classic 4x4, bought for $1,000. Drivetrain consisted of 5.7L TBI, Turbo 350 and a np208 transfer I have paperwork showing rebuilt engine about 2,000 miles ago now, also has brand new 32x11.50 tires, on original 15" blue rally rims. Since i have bought it i have swapped out transmissions and installed a 700r4 out of my parts silverado into it. Now i know i am probally gunna get yelled at for that, but the torque converter was going out in the T350. So instead of spending money on a new torque me and my wife just swapped transmissions in our driveway.
All i would like to do to her is put a small lift and a set of 33's, as well as a rear locker and front and rear bumpers. Of course this would all be after I fix the current problems.
