New TJ ARB rear bumper and swing out carrier

Is anyone running or planning on running the new TJ rear bumper from ARB? I like that it is much slimmer than the the old version. Having the tire attached to the tailgate is nice and reminds me of AEV's setup.

Here is a PDF of the bumper.

I like the taillights in the lower photo. Like the bumper too. Wonder how the bumper only, with an exogate might work?

I know a few people with the JK version and its SOLID. I would say the TJ version is spot on too.

Nice, but I think I prefer the ability to swing the tire away separately from the tailgate...easier to wash behind the spare that way!

Being able to wash behind the spare would be nice, but I cannot do that now with the OEM set up.

KojakJKU,

From the ones you've seen, how far does the tailgate open before the it latches in place. Per the pics from Quadratec's site it only looks to go 90 degrees. I'd like it to fully utilize the OEM hinge limit before it engages.

To tell you the truth, I never really noticed a difference. I can tell you that if I wasn't staying stock to keep weight down, I would be either running the ARB or AEV bumpers.

Exactly...if I'm going to spend $$$ for a replacement, then I want the ability to swing it away separately. But the "open in one motion" is nice too.
