Hello guys ad Gals.

I posted on TW and im not getting any answers and i have browsed the site here using the search. Not much i could find.

I have a 2010 DCSB sport tacoma. I really want to Run 255/75/17's. I have read that they can fit and that they cant. Its frustrating. I want more than yes or a no. I would like to see pictures. I had bilstein 5100's ordered and a 1.5 AAL. however I also rear a TON of threads with people bitching about vibrations so I said F that and cancelled my order. Any pics would be fantastic. I know the front flaps would have to go but thats all ive read so far.

Thanks Ray.

I look foward to getting to know people in my local area and thanks to everyone.

I ran 255/75-17 BFG MT-KM tires on my '09 DCSB during the summer months for three years. I wheeled the truck, and I didn't have any issues. Keep in mind, I was running FJ Cruiser wheels, which have a bit less backspacing than the stock wheels (1/2" less I think?). Also, I do have TSB rear springs. I didn't have to remove the front flaps either. A rock removed one of them for me eventually, but they weren't causing enough of an issue to cause me any concern.

There are additional pictures in my build thread linked below.

I appreciate the response. I would like to keep my sport wheels, worst comes to worst Ill just find a 265/70/17 but I rather have a taller tire.

Welcome to Expo. The 255/75/17 (~32"). is only .2-.3 inches taller than a 265/70/17 (31.8" for BFGs). For all intents and purposes, they are the same size tire. I've run both. You really can't tell the difference in pictures. Neither will rub with stock suspension
