NEW (to ME) RRC LWB

Looking forward to seeing them. The previous owners probably installed the running boards because they got tired of falling ou of the truck.

I'm in Salt Lake City. I have been searching around for a while for a clean RRC that has been well taken care of. From the service records and the list of things that were done to this rig it seems perfect. Glad to hear that you liked it after seeing it in person. The pictures look awesome, but pics can be deceiving as well. I have learned the hard way.

Awesome I hope that you enjoy it! I am sure you have learned the hard way but when I saw it in person it was very well taken care of and a very nice vehicle. I can't wait to see some pics with mud all over it!

Nice truck

Before you do to much offroading I would check the front shock travel, looks to be a little on the long side for the amount of lift. That rig just looks good I bet your like a kid on Christmas to see it and drive it.

Cheers Ed

Great looking RRC, there's not many like that anymore. I'm a former FJ80 owner so I understand the transition, the Land Cruiser was a great truck but my Disco is in a different league in many ways.

Fly out, drive home. It's a great way to get acquainted with your new truck. I've done 600 miles several times, both in older European cars.

I'm thinking about road tripping it, but I just got back from one and this would be almost 1700 miles. That's a long drive.

1700 miles isn't to bad, make it a two day. I just got in from Florida an hour ago. Drove from DC to Orlando and back with the range, drives like a dream. Plus last time I checked they were called Land Rovers.

Have fun with it, make it a 3 day adventure. Take the back roads, see some sights. You'll still probably save money vs shipping.

My buddies a pilot for delta so if he can get me out there on a buddy pass then it's for sure worth it. If I have to pay for airfare and gas than shipping is cheaper. I actually would prefer to road trip it and probably that is what will happen maybe next weekend.
