Cool. Looks like it may have been a jet ski trailer or something. Cant wait to watch the progress.

The guy I bought it from said the guy he bought it from had a welder on it, I'm thinking that's why it had the 2 movable cross members in it, they have slots in them for mounting, kinda like 2 big pieces of unistrut, but digger and thicker. I've dug through all the trailer builds and am still at a loss of how I want to proceed.

Well I dug into the trailer more and this little gem is a Miller 224 welding trailer, quick search for pricing brought up from $1500-2000.00 new, without the welder, youch. Also he threw in 2 Bulldog jacks, in very like new condition start at $50+ each. I would consider this a great score for sure. He also threw in the light kit, and the 2 14" Ford Ranger tires. I would say he was very much a motivated seller.

...and the deck is only 3' wide out to out on the frame, so I'm thinking a teardrop may be out as it would have to occupy myself, Mrs., and Jack, a 65# bundle of energy who thinks the world is his pillow. So we can sleep in the GW with an awning and some other modifications I have planned, so I was thinking of buying/making some removable camp boxes that would attach to the bed of the trailer, we travel pretty light and don't tend to bring a bunch of stuff.
Thoughts.
