Newbie questions about travel trailer

Hi,
I live in Canada and I don't find as many options as in the Us about travel trailers with a capacity to do "forest road", and national park campgrounds.
I was interested by the No Boundaries product, R'POD and Ibex product because they advertise it " will allow you to explore and set up camp in places that would otherwise be inaccessible"
Great exactly what I was looking for!!!
but it seems according to reviews and Facebook groups, these products are not well built.
I only read bad reviews...

If you could help me find a suitable travel camper It would be much appreciated.
I'm looking for something available in Canada (in inventory or short order,) Quebec is better but I can drive :)
With 'Off road" capacity, more like a remote forest road. With a bathroom shower well insulated as we will live full time in it. Well built , strong.
I found a few trailers like this but no option in Canada.
MAX MAX budget will be 65k if I really need to .
I found some brands like Casita, Oliver, Escape, nucamp and Kimberley. Hard to find theses brand available in Canada.

Thanks for your help

Escape waiting list exploded. We out deposit on in early August and our build starts in March. But by September they sold all of this year's slots
What about Alto Safari Condo? I don't know about the off road part but they had a reasonable sized fixed roof model and the build materials seemed like a far better choice that the junk built by Forest River and Thor.
And they are built in Quebec.

Edit#2
Escape builds inventory units now not just customs units. So if you are quick you might get something in the end of this quarter.
The 19 is most popular but they do make inventory 17B models.

Thanks. Sadly none available...
Unless you are buying used..... everyone is a 6 month wait or longer.
The Escape brand is one of the best.

For durability most new trailers try to pack in way too many features and they literally fall apart on washboard. Look for simplicity and as few moving parts as possible. A lot of the "off road" versions are jacked up so high they lose stability and yet the sewage drain hangs down just begging to hit a rock.

Trillium I think is still in business in Calgary, they are very cool little trailers.

The Escape may be the best built camper in your above list, according to neighbors of ours who own one. And of course, they’re made in B.C.

I've been through several Escape trailers and would only refer to them as better due to the fiberglass shell. They'll stand up 10's of miles off road but not 100's and definlty not 1000's.

The low carry capacity (+/-1,000lbs before gear and tank filling) makes it difficult to do modifications that would make them last off road.

Escapes have the same RV accessories as all the rest so there isn't much one can do here but hope for the best.

Frames are bare minimum.

Ground clearance is horrible. Worse are the tank valves that are just waiting to be ripped off.

Solar panels mounted with 1 screw into fiberglass

Tanks are exposed to the elements. Two things here. The use below freezing is limited and there is a risk of punching holes in the tank on roads with fractured rock, shale or the 3/8" gravel that covers the roads in Man. & Sask

One of the outstanding issues was an open battery box with FLA batteries inside a bench seat.

Compared to an R-Pod, which is the closest thing in size and amenities we want, the Escape was a fair amount better.
R-Pod has a single axle that's overloaded from factory and 500# payload in configurations we looked at. Slides that are guaranteed to break. And a big pair of seams the length of the trailer with a bead of caulk to keep out water.
Escape has an insulated and/or heated tank option, and has tandem axles. The frame is square tubing instead of C channel like the R-Pod.

Could Escape be built better? Yeah for sure. Not for a 34k CAD price point tho. Locally R-Pod were going for 25-26K, so thats my measuring stick.
