"Autoblopnik" -- very droll.

Of course, Jeep does plan to use a variant of the chassis under the Fiat 500L for a new subcompact model. The un-named vehicle will be about the size of the original Toyota RAV4 or the current MINI Countryman. Jeep promises that the new vehicle will have 4x4 and off-road capability.

The Fiat Panda is smaller than the 500L. I haven't read any report of plans to import the Panda as a Jeep. It might show up in Fiat showrooms some day.

Arent the Rav 4 and Mini Countryman completely different in size? maybe im wrong. its been a long time since ive seen a countryman in person, and I cant get over how massive the rav4s have become.

Please tell me the article was a joke... I've seen worse actually become reality. Which is it? The jab at people who can't afford to buy Lan... Never mind. I'm on a down day today...

I love this! I am a Certified Chrysler Sales Professional. Since the Wrangler is our best seller, I cannot imagine them changing. But.... I love the way they put this type of media out to create urgency to buy now! It allows me the ability to modify my JKs!

"Aren't the Rav 4 and Mini Countryman completely different in size?"

I said the _original_ RAV4, circa 1996. Toyota sold the first generation in USA from 1996 through 2000.
Both the 1996 RAV4 four door and the 2013 MINI Countryman have an overall length of 162 inches.
