The prices are much different here in Sweden. Of course there is the whole export/import cost but it must still be cheaper to buy one from here? Especially if you can do the restoration work yourself.
If you want you can search for " Volvo Valp", "Volvo TGB". Search for Volvo TGB you will find 6x6 trucks as well. Need help translating copy and paste in Googles translate service SWEDISH-ENGLISH. http://translate.google.com

Here is a totally restored version of the same truck I have. Right now 65 000 Swedish kronor is $9 288.

Nice puppy, restored to almost original condition, practically stainless steel. It is not possible to restore the original.
This variant is B18, a mechanical winch and 12V electrical systems, LSD rear, low & high 4-wheel drive, neutral, and rear-wheel drive. Waiting for 5 passengers alt 1 or 2 stretchers back. Nybesiktad without comment.
New:
Wheel bearings all around, tires, clutch inc head & slave cylinder, brakes, head and wheel cylinders & & evidence, knot cross, steel throwers & tail lights, windscreen, Hi-Lift jack.
Extra parts:
Distribution Box, front & rear, interior to the gearbox, etc. etc..
Puller and mounting tools, stretchers, came radio, and exposition is included.
