Awesome expedition rig!
2008 Nissan Titan Pro-4X Crew Cab, black. Rare 7'3" long bed. 5.6L V8, 317HP, 385 LB FT Torque. 5 speed auto. 177,000miles. 37 gallon gas tank. Leer topper with full-length side "bat wing" windows for ease of loading and unloading, and great ventilation while sleeping in bed. Topper has carpet lining and power outlets. Eaton electronic locking rear differential. ARB Bull Bar, with 10,000lb. Super Winch. 2" suspension lift. Leather interior, Rockford Fosgate stereo.
The Titan was originally a California truck that I bought from another ExPo member. I added the topper, bull bar, and winch. I'm tall, and having a crew cab with the longest available bed on a 1/2 ton was appealing for sleeping in the back. This truck has been fantastic for my personal adventures (family of 5), as well as guiding canoe, winter camping, and other wilderness trips. I have no problem carrying food and group supplies for a week's trip in the secured bed. I'm not a four wheeler, but appreciate a good 4x4 to get me to the trailhead, particularly in our Minnesota winters! During my ownership (last 85,000 miles) largely highway driving, as I've also always had a commuter car. No rock crawling, no heavy hauling (a few trips towing a light canoe trailer). This truck is in great shape for it's age, and has been well-maintained.
Cosmetic issues: Paint issues on one side of the hood (fading, peeling clear coat). Rear bumper is a bit dinged up, has some small rust spots. Supporting arms on side mirror (about 1.5" long each) are rusty, and hinge on driver's side mirror has cracked plastic.
