NM Rover Social Saturday Feb 28th!

Last weekend in February, I invite any Rover owners and drivers to come to Madrid, NM to meet up! Madrid is a small village in the Ortiz Mtns with a history as a coal mining town, a ghost town that was revived by artists, hippies and vets who bought up the mining shacks in town or land in the hills and settled in years ago. The owner of the Mine Shaft Tavern is a former Land Rover owner and still loves them! In a town of 300 there are two Series and one Discovery that I know of...and miles upon miles of dirt roads, some easy, some rough.
So I'm thinking, if you are able, come up to the Tavern Saturday Feb 28th at noon, let's meet up, eat, drink, tell stories and then go for a drive.
Simple as that.

Got a handful of Rovers from Alb area coming up. Anyone else want to go for a drive with us? It's open playtime in the mud and dirt near Madrid! Frenchie, the Old Fart, is coming up to check out the roads with me and we'll make a plan for different levels of challenge. Lunch at the Shaft then a drive on the weekend. You can stay over if you like, camping at mine, or at the BnBs in Madrid.
