Non DD question

So I have a 2004 4Runner for our expo rig but it's not my DD. I have a 2010 Carolla that I drive around as my DD but I try and drive the 4Runner every now and then to keep everything moving. I don't want to drive it too much because the mileage is already high so I'd like to keep from racking up miles driving around town and save them for trips.

My question is how long do u guys think I should let it sit between taking it out just to keep everything moving. I usually try not to let it sit more than a week without being driven around for a day or 2. What do u guys think?

My 3rd gen 4runner does nothing but sit. Seriously never goes anywhere. I don't insure it, and just keep it tucked into a corner of the garage, on jack-stands. I guess I'm just keeping it there, as it would be hard to find another like it (great condition, desert-dune, 90k miles, 5-speed) and I want to drive it to S.America some day. If people knew about it [shhh!] I'd probably get an offer I wouldn't be able to refuse. I do treat the fuel, and run thru a tank and change the oil (full syn) ever 6mos, and it never has any issues.

The '85 is a non-DD. It sometimes sits for several months. It used to sit for 6 months at a time, but it gets out more often now that it's the snow plow. All I do is use a battery switch and open it when it's parked.

Dad's '98 4runner also sits for 6-7 months at a time. It doesn't even get the battery disconnected. Starts right up when it's needed.

Haven't used fuel treatment on either one, and they both go several years between oil changes.
