I have been lurking and reading and finally decided on a Monty for light traveling. I am no mechanic, but I have always done my own maintenance on all my vehicles. However, I have never owned a Monty and would like to see if more experienced members would be willing to share their pre-buy tips/secrets/checklist?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 1990 Montero with automatic transmission and other than the usual things that applies to buying a used vehicle, is there anything specific to the Montero that I should be aware off?
