NSG370 6spd and high pitched chirp / squeak

Ok, I have read many post on issues with the new NSG 370. For me the 6spd has been flawless in shifting (well at least with the limited miles i have). So was my old 2003 NV3550.

Now I am getting this ultra high pitched chirp sound when the clutch is fulled released. Kind of like a recording of crickets played back a 4 times normal speed. The sound goes away when the clutch pedal is even slightly depressed even a 1/4" or less.

I was used to the rumble sound my NV3550 made with the clutch released. That seemed normal. This new sound in the NSG370 seems like bare steel is scraping at high rpms.

Stats:

1114 miles on the odometer
stock fluids.

Possible causes?????

Throwout bearing
clutch chater with a different sound than I am used to
Me just being over paranoid about little noises.

If this is something that has a TSB, my question now is what problems am I going to run into when I take it in and they see I have an Nth TT installed. I wonder if they will even honor the warranty.

Also, will this cause any damage if I run this awhile before having it fixed?

Sounds Like a throwout bearing to me. You will probably be ok for a bit. I wouldn't let go unchecked for too long.

Here is the follow-up.

Pollard in Boulder performed the TSB 06-002-07. For the TJ the tsb was for replacement of the slave cylinder actuator rod. This did not solve the problem. So, they replaced the throwout bearing. All is now working properly.

They did not even ask about nor mention anything about my Nth TT.
