Looks like we have another correct recognization! :victory:

What resources are you using to locate the wrecks?

All of the above. For more information, take a look at my web site:

Specifically

how many aircraft are scattered around that area

There are a ton, literally hundreds, in southern NV with the gunnery ranges, but I was not expecting too many up north. However, with limited researching, I already have about 30 in north central NV that I want to search for, mostly Navy crashes out of Fallon.

Love your Smugmug site.
Nevada has to be one of the most under appreciated states, maybe thats a good thing. I seem to spend most of my time in eastern California, it's time to keep going.
Yeah that's cause folks keep getting it confused Nebraska.:coffeedrink:

Hmmm... I'd say the blue tub is in Smith Valley. Metal tub I thought was Potts, not sure about that though. There are a lot of springs in Smokey and Monitor Valleys.

Visited the spring shown in the first pic, last Saturday. Blue tub was gone, water flowing out of the pipe was hot but the water in the steel tub was cold :(

Darn, that was a good one. Was the water from the pipe cold, or was it just the tub?

The water flowing out of the pipe was nice, but the flow was apparently too small to keep up with the cooling effect of the big metal tub. On the other hand, that was not the case at Spencer or Potts the next day :)
