Odd request-can someone post a pic of the dip stick on a 3.9?

It appears the oil dip stick on my DI was left off or got lost somewhere along the way. I ordered the CD ROM of the manuals but so far the two I've received have problems with loading the PDF's so no diagrams yet.

I think I spotted the hole where the dip stick and tube is supposed to go but I am not sure not having owned this engine before, can someone post a picture or a diagram of the engine showing the location for me?

I have this image of the dip stick and tube lying on the shop floor that installed the new(er) 3.9.

No Photo, but if you look at the left rocker cover, on the left side of it near the middle there is a screw, or hole for a screw, that is for a clamp for it. The tube enters the block near the bottom of the block below that screw.

D/S, Dip stick enters block by the Serial#/ compression rating stamp.

mine is on the driver's side in my LHD 1992 RR mk1

Thanks, I think I saw that hole on the D/S- I'll plug it tomorrow until I can find a dip stick to put back in there.

By default Right and Left of a car are as you are sitting in the drivers seat.
I try to avoid using "drivers side" on an international forum.
