Up for grabs is our low mileage 2004 Lexus GX470 non KDSS; overland ready with Nav and a relocated backup camera to the hitch rack. Mark Levinson sound with Black exterior and grey interior. The leather is in great condition with no tears and is very soft. I had the seat and back foam replaced in October of 2019 and now the seats feel brand new. The truck is in great shape with no accidents, damage or leaks of any kind. Decals are being removed along with an interior clean and exterior wash and wax. We are the second owners and the vehicle was purchased from a California owner in late 2019. It has never seen snow (no rust) and has been well taken care of since day one. The previous owner had it serviced at the dealer at each interval. Since we have owned it, we have completed the transformation from a mall crawler to what you see today. I just had the oil changed on July 8th along with the spark plugs and all 3 wipers on July 11th. The Lexus just completed a 1,700 mile trip through Colorado, Arizona and Utah and is set for more adventures. The odometer just turned 119,000. The truck comes with 2 key fobs and 1 valet key. Clean Carfax. Title in hand, no lien. Truck is in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are selling our ready to roll Lexus GX470 as we prepare for a new build. Buy today and camp tomorrow (or later that evening). This truck needs nothing and has everything. These are becoming harder to find with low miles and well cared for. Additionally, since COVID, a lot of these aftermarket parts are taking longer to receive and / or backordered.

Here is a complete list of the build items and the retail prices paid for the parts and some include labor. Please note that the truck has a custom built 2nd row storage box and does not have rear seats. The box is not permanent and can be removed should the need arise. It is bolted down using the OEM seat mounting plates and can be removed in one piece. The box has one large door with equal compartments on each side and rubberized marine latches. A portion of the box houses the CO2 tank and is easy to remove when needing a refill. No rear seats are included in the sale, but are easily sourced if needed. Most parts installed between March and April of 2020 unless otherwise noted.

Additional photos to be added today.

Some side notes to go with the build notes:

The front bumper houses the Smittybilt X20 winch, which is a 10,000 lb rating and can be run wired or wireless. It also has the Factor 55 flatlink in blue and 2x Gear America shackles. The front light bar is operated by way of the S Tech switch. The main control unit is fitted under the hood on the Apex Overland tray and the switch itself is mounted on the interior driver side. The fog lights in the bumper are operated using the OEM fog light switch. The two Rigid ditch lights are also operated independently by way of the S Tech. There are still 3 slots left in the S Tech for lockers or other electrical items you want.

Under the hood there are 2 x Optima batteries both housed within the Off Grid Engineering dual battery system with the venerable Redarc BCDC1225D. Also connected to this is an Anderson cable for solar operations when still or driving. This cable is hidden inside the front bumper.

In the rear, the Westcott Designs hitch rack contains the back up camera, Hi-lift jack, spare tire, Aluminess box with on demand hot water shower and pump (has SAE plug on exterior), 11# propane tank, 4 Rotopax 2.5 gallon water, 2 Rotopax 2.5 gallon gas and a drop down aluminum table. Jeff Westcott ensured his design has no wobble, is very stout and functional. No departure angle has been lost with this add. The rack is split into two swing outs with locking pins at different opening angles as well as 2 hand locking bolts when closed.

The sliders were installed using grade 8 bolts straight through the frame rather than Rivnuts ( I hate Rivnuts). The Prinsu rack holds the RoofNest Falcon along with the Rhino Rack 270* awning, KC Action Trax (think Maxtrax) and the Pelican case. The RTT does not protrude on either side of the rack, nor does it extend beyond any of the length. It is a perfect fit and looks really good without adding any unnecessary overall height.

The interior of the vehicle is grey leather with heated seats. It has Nav, 2 X mounts for phones, Bluetooth (controlled by steering wheel), WeBoost 4G, Custom storage box, CO2 tank, Front Runner drawer system, Clearview drop down fridge slide, Dometic fridge, National Luna dual battery monitor and the Finn Fab rear panels and table.

All of this weight is being held up by the Icon 750# reservoir front springs and their UCA's (with zerk fittings for easy greasing) and in the rear the Robinsons 1,000# springs take the brunt of the gear load. The vehicle was fitted with the 750# Icon rears, but they did not hold up to the weight demands so we switched them out after only 100 miles. To get you over any obstacles, the 4.56 Nitro Gears work as they should along with the center diff lock. For our purposes, we felt lockers were a little overkill, but these can be added. BFG KO2's wrapped around Method wheels finish off the build.

Thanks SurferJacoby. We are still weighing a few options as we really enjoy the build process.
