Base trailer is a 1966 Swiss M416
Sad to say that we have to part with our well built military trailer, completely setup for family adventure in the mountains.
We've been preparing this trailer for amazing outdoor adventure in Colorado, but we are now moving out of state and it can't go with.
The base is is a M416 trailer, 1966 vintage with a clean Colorado title.
The tent is a Free Spirit Recreation Basecamp model, which is no longer available for purchase. The tent includes a large add-on room that doubles the square footage.
The trailer was recently upgraded with a 2" receiver in the back and a tongue box up front.
There's a 600lb slide out that allows easy access to all of your gear.
Our 12v Aussie spec ArkPak battery system has a brand new marine deep cycle Battery. 80W solar panel is also included.
We installed a 5gal Jerry can water container on the tongue, and include another 5gal container inside the trailer.
3 leveling jacks make the trailer very stable and perfectly level on any terrain.
Trailer is converted to standard 4 prong hookups, and includes the original Pintle / hook towing setup with a riser for any vehicle height.
High clearance fenders were just added to accommodate larger tires, but we haven't gotten that far yet.
We've set this trailer & tent up perfectly for a family of four:
Kitchen/Chuck box setup is free standing and includes a stove, pot, utensils, lights, GSI Camp Kitchen, Sea To Summit plates/cups, and yes, even the kitchen sink.
The full+ size bed on the trailer also includes a memory foam topper for added comfort.
We have two brand new (used twice) lightweight camp cots for kids or adults.
The toilet setup includes a brand new quick deploy privacy shelter
