Homemade camping/jeep/utility trailer from a Samurai tub and frame. Heavy Duty. Straight axle uses 5 on 5.5 wheel pattern like Samurai, Tracker, Old Ford, Old Jeeps. 31x10.50x15 tires and spare. Front third of trailer is open with expanded metal, back 2/3 is Samurai tub with a bulkhead of sheetmetal and top of sheet metal. It is lockable, tailgate still works and swings to the side like a stock Samurai. Has the stock 10.5 gallon fuel tank and skid plate with a fuel pump (12v) with long leads to hook to a battery for fuel transfer. A 48" long metal table resides in the front storage section or hangs on the left side for a tabletop. Folding tubes go up on either side to fit a cable with a 5'x7' tarp attached, has two outside extendable poles for supports. Only have one tarp set up, other side would just need $25-two tent poles, some rope, stakes, and one 5x7 tarp. Top of trailer is 1" square HD tube. A roof top tent from Cascadia tent or similar would complete this trailer. I am old and don't want a tent anymore.
Compare this to one of the $14000 off road tent trailers if you will; just add a tent. Or use your own camp gear and save big. Pulls great at any speed and is very light. No title, it is homemade. Tongue jack swivels up and out of the way, dual safety chains, large taillights. 2" ball coupler.
I really don't want to sell but haven't used it in forever. Just got a new pickup too. I have a dumb phone that doesn't text well, but does do phone calls and voicemail quite well. Might could drive a few hours on a weekend to help meet up. Fresh service on wheel bearings with marine grease. Added two adjustable support jack poles to the rear that are not in the pics to balance the trailer if unhooked.
