Off the Market: 2006 F250 6.0Diesel with Flippac

All,

Unfortunately, I am forced to sell my family camping rig. The truck is a 2006 F250 Super Duty XL with a 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel. It has just under 118k miles but will increase as time goes along. I’m the second owner. The truck does not have any leaks, all fluids were replaced, all axles serviced, filters replaced and continued to be maintained upon my purchase as well. Truck is bulletproofed and is in very good shape mechanically, with the normal minor exterior condition that goes with a truck that has been used since 2006. The tires are nearly new and I replaced the spare with a full size to match the larger tire size. I removed the lift the previous owner put on it and just put a leveling kit on it. I also bedlined the bottom quarter panel with a two part epoxy bed liner.
The camper is a flippac that is actually an AT Overland flippac that was built for this year of truck. I also had it on a Chevy as well when I first purchased it. The previous owner painted it in plastidip since it matched his truck better. It is in really good condition with very small holes that have been patched, has the upgradetorsion bar, SLO rain fly that has been freshly treated, and resealed for winter. I added a windoor to the passenger side for ventilation for my dog while driving. It also has lighting to a secondary battery that has been nice to have while camping with the family.
It’s been a great rig, but life changes and I need to get rid of the third vehicle to fund other pursuits.
I’m in Colorado Springs, CO.
Looking for $30k, but am open to reasonable offers as well for the whole rig. I’m also open to splitting the two if there’s individual interest. That covers my costs to date at cost.
Let me know if you have any interest! Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks for the interest! I’m sure you know, if you’re asking, I’m basing it on one train of thought, which is do four of the five following: oil cooler, egr cooler, head studs, FICM, and water pump. “Bulletproof” is a bit subjective.
This truck has had all but the head studs. Because it has never been tuned, I haven’t had it done and the truck hasn’t had any issues.
The previous owner had the high pressure oil pump replaced in 2014, 2015 oil cooler replaced, and new dummy plugs and STC fittings. New glow plugs and FICM in 2018. I did the EGR in 2022. I can’t speak to the work the previous owner had done in complete transparency. I wasn’t the one who did it (I believe it was done at the ford dealership from what I was told) other than my mechanic said the work was clean and wasn’t a hack job like a lot of 6.0 work he has seen over the years. I also put in a coolant filter, put in two new batteries, replaced side mirrors with newer style,… and things I’m sure I’m missing.
I’d be happy to have anyone interested have their mechanic go through it if they would like.
I can say, it’s a very nice truck for what it has been for my family and still a truck at the end of the day. It in no way competes with some of the rigs on here (cheers to most of the guys on here and their rigs!) but would be a and has been a great camping, hunting, and exploring rig for someone. Side note: I love the Flippac set up! If you haven’t seen one, it’s a really cool camper and this one is in really good shape.

just one opinion.

we have a 2006 F250 6.0 "bulletproofed", it is sitting at 260k on the clock and still running strong. use it as a DD and farm truck. I'd drive it across country right now with no worries.

hope that helps with the sale.
