I like what I see! I'm partial to the square and round style sliders. I hope that box you are using to prop them up is empty! :yikes:

"Those welds dry yet??":coffeedrink: How about an update.
You should have gone with PVC , that stuffs strong like my feet and the glue dries fast. ... look foward to seeing those bounce off some rock's real soon.

I agree with Pierre -- that's quite a nice box you have there to prop up the sliders. I look forward to seeing how they look welded on!

burl40,
isn't it a bit of a pain to remove the engle 45l from the box each time you want a beer? :shakin:

Post some pics of the final product when you are done, now get to :Mechanic: !

Cheers ,

How's progress

Sliders look pretty slick tucked up under those black angle pieces, looks almost like they are part of the sliders, hmmm, something to add to future models possibly. Did they swap out your welder with no problems, and are you still coming up to Amador thurs. to eat some bird?:chowtime:

yey I was thinkin of building the next prototype with angled boat style sides like a comp buggy so the whole underbelly is solid. Cant wait to try them out on the rocks. more pics later tonight of the 98% finished product before powder coat....

I was thinking of attatching them with super glue or bondo perhaps......No really I am attatching them with 2x2 supports to the frame and I am plating the frame where they attatch Then maybe some gussets. Then I am starting on the roll cage. I hope to have it done by Mojave.....Hey Andrew did you get yor RC CRWLER TOGETHER YET???????
