So, I am not sure if it's a G-wagon, specifically, but I do know it's an MB. Spotted in Arches National Park the first weekend of February. German plates. I didn't get a chance to speak with the couple that was driving it, but it did look comfy.
That's an 1113. I used to sell them. Not my first choice for a long trip. They are a bit "rustic" in the cab comfort dept. Built from 1970-1979 if my stats are correct. No 4x4 either...
There really cool rigs (IMO) and have been used for expedition use for some time. Dead reliable diesels, parts availability world wide, heavy GVW. I'll have one someday
