Older fleet in a first gen Tundra.

Found an older model (1980s) Fleet for sale semi-local. After googling some, it seems that it should fit fine in my first gen (2006) access cab Tundra. My truck should be ready for it, just put all new brakes on, newer E rated tires, aand an add-a-leaf.

Has anyone had this setup or know if it will work for sure? What tie-down system should I be looking for as well? It seems the Fleet is narrow and may not hang over the sides to allow external tie downs.

How should I go about getting it back to my house? Ratchet straps over the entire camper? Or just around the bottom of the truck and through the jack mounts?

Sorry for the multitude of questions, this would be my first in bed camper.

Here are some of the images I've found. Not sure what the tie-down situation is.

I drilled thru the floor pack and truck bed floor and bolted it down. I brought mine home on a 16 foot flatbed trailer. Turned it backwards and used ratchet straps for a 400 mile trip home.
