OME 885 or 886 for Taco

I'm ready to pull the trigger and replace my aging Rough Country 2.5in spacer lift in favor of an OME setup. However I would like some input as to which coils to go with, 885 or 886's I do have the ARB bumper and winch but I will be pulling my winch cable off in favor of sythetic here some day. The truck is my DD and I fear 886's may beat the crap out of me. Do I have nothing to fear? or should I go with 885's

886's are best for your needs IMO, everyone I know who went with 885's for "ride" reasons wishes they had gone with the stiffer springs - especially with the ARB/winch

When I had my Taco I went with the 886's and never regretted it. You will want them with a winch and bumper as Doc says.

886 for sure.

Regardless of the winch, just having an ARB bumper I would go with the 886. It may be a little stiff at first, but when the springs settle you will be glad you did. I have 885's on my double cab, with stock bumper and only a brush guard, and I often wish I had gone with the 886.

I've got the 886's on my Access Cab w/ an ARB and winch and the Dakars on the back. They do ride kinda rough and I've heard of others with them on their access cab rattling, but I was more worried about sagging. My truck does sit level though (ARE camper shell on the back).

I agree 886. I do have a v8 but with bumper winch and skids the 886 are a little soft when pushed hard, rest of the time the ride is great. With mods go with 886.

this may be a stupid question, but with the 885's or 886's can you run stock uca's?

I am running stock UCA with my 886/OME nitrocharger setup....mainly the only reason you would need to change your UCA is for tire fitment issues...with 255/85, they do not rub at all on my UCA.
