Just wondering, from what I read, the OME springs will lift the truck 1.5" over stock, but there is much discussion of what "load" the different springs are designed for.
For example, the 779 is listed as being designed for 110-250lbs of extra load up front, and provide a 1.5" lift.
Is the 1.5" lift WITH extra load on the front? Or is it 1.5" on a stock truck, and then after you load it they come down to somewhere less than 1.5"?
Similarly, the 762 rear, rated at 220lbs extra load and 1.5" lift. Is the 1.5" lift with 220lbs in the back, or empty?
I just want to understand... because I'll have a winch bumper fitted 24/7, so it will always be loaded. I think I want HD springs in the back, I do intend to tow a heavy trailer, but I won't have much load back there like 99% of the time I'm driving the truck. So will it be level?
I think I have decided on the 779 in front, but I'm not sure if I'd be better off with the 762 rear, or go with the 781 and fit auxilliary air bags for when I'm carrying the heavy trailer.
And for the record, I'm trying to avoid a high lift. I actually don't *want* to lift it too much.
