We installed the door tops and rear door today. Zack had to do this demo for me. Pretty cool!

That is sweet... It reminds me of starting the old pump motors for our water system in Australia... crank it once and then GET THE HANDLE OFF!!!!! Good looking old SII BTW. She's a beaut.

used to do that as a teen ager back in the 70's to show off how cool a 2a was when a group of us were out drinking. Paled in comparison to others muscle cars though. Don't think I have used one of those in 30yrs. Funny how reliable starters are when you have an alternative.

Might want to consider NOT wrapping your thumb around the handle.

Other than that, it works great.

you beat me to it on the thumb comment. Keep the thumb on the same side as the fingers!! I wasn't sure where that you tube video was going to go.

Hand cranks on series motors are great if you get stopped in water and you are by yourself without a winch, put vehicle in gear, remove plugs and hand crank vehicle out in reverse.
