So I just bought purchased this from a very good friend of mine and I really never knew how much this was built up until I got digging into it.

I was told that this might have been a chase truck for the BAJA 1000 in its prior life, I would not know how to check for sure.

Gorgeous looking XJ. Love those fenders.

One thing I will say, not a fan of how they did the roll cage in the rear. It looks like you've permanently divided the space. Would much rather have that completely open so one could do what they want with it.

So i left Bellingham Washington yesterday and attempted to drive the Jeep to Utah and the PCM went out in Le grande Oregon, we ordered one from Florida and had it sent to the shop that I left it at and Ill have to drive back up their(8 Hours) to pick it back up on Tuesday and drive it back!!!!

The Jeep is back home all in one piece!! On the way home two transmission codes showed up- P0700 & P0740- AKA Transmission.

I went to the local shop and them look, NEW Filter and NEW Fluid changed out and fixed the CEL light!!! At the time I found out that the transfer case was almost dry as well.

At least it is home!!!!

Great looking xj. looks like it may have been a prerunner for desert racing before. Looks like you are on your way to do some desert exploring.

Took off the 900 IPF lights and installed LEDs.

Spent the entire day grinding and sanding down the rust on the bumpers and sliders.
