Hi Deslandes,

Good stuff, I like the series grill. You could sell them, nice job. I am not so sure about the light surrounds though? But it probably just me. I like the retro looking stuff.

The LHD 1988 hicap is worth a small fortune in the US (assuming original engine) because it is over 25 years old.

Sweet 90 and HiCAP. Be interesting to see where you take the build. Local truck? Relatively rust free from that area, correct?

I don't need a rear stairway to heaven but this one looks pretty cool!

Had it been cut out and bend just of one sheet of aluminum?
The roof rack fasteners are great too. Very smart to let the form follow the function! :26_7_2:

Hi,

The HCPU comes from Italy were the last owner refurbished it in a good way... Chassis is hopefully rust free, a complete cleaning and Hammerite paint will be enough.

See part of the job :

300Tdi instead of the old 2.5Td

The final looking, complete hood from rear to the cab, side extention for extra room :

All accessories can be find on acc16 website (small french company, "acc16" on google will help), from roofracks, to tribute series grille, front winch bumpers, all you need for your Defender ;-)

That's very clever! And well thought out/made too. And I presume the sleeping tray is over the top of that on those rails on the side of the load bed, and slides out?

Very cool 'eat n wash' station. Is that a custom one of a kind or are they manufactured? If built would you mind sharing specs and sources?

So jealous of all the great defenders on the other side of the pond.
