oops missed it by 1/2 " on trailer tires

Well my 4x4 harbor freight trailer came with 12x4.5 trailer wheels and I wanted to go a little bigger for more clearance, a wider tire, and my little 1" wheel bearing wont spin so fast. Tried to mount the 175/80 D13 tires and they hit springs on my harbor freight trailer, tried 1/4" spacers not enough so ordered 1.5"wide 4"x4" adapters so wheels will clear. have to mount fenders higher also. size change will give 2" more clearance and tires are 1.5" wider and will give a lot more floatation when aired down. I am only running 31x10.5x15 tires on my tracker so trailer will have enough ground clearance here it is with little tires will post in a week when I get bigger ones mounted

What kind of gas mileage do you get? What kind of trails/roads are you most likely to explore? The larger tires will smooth it out as long as the axles/bearings can handle the additional stresses of the additional unsprung weight.

15-18 mpg with trailer running my 31x10.5x15 tires 17-20 mpg with 235/75/15 tires. Up to 2+ rated trails all over so cal deserts anza/Joshua/death valley. Trailer probably maxs out at 500 lbs so tracker pulls trailer freeway speeds up grades with 31" tires.

The 4 bolt pattern is the same as honda civics and many other 4 bolt japanese compact cars - 4x100. I had to use 2" honda spacers to fit my tires and clear the springs, but mine are a lot wider.

If you want hubcentric you'll need to go custom. Couldn't find anyone that makes or stocks spacers with that small of a hub size.

go to A DAPT IT USA they have the size you need with pics you can get 1" thick to if you want. 4 x 100 mm might work but they are 1.5 mm larger than 4x 4". But I will keep that in mind if I want wider tires

well got new tires mounted on tracker and trailer,had to raise fenders and I added Gerry can mounts

I just ordered some 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 adapters for my trailer. This will allow me to run 15" wheels with the same size tires as my Sidekick, so no worries about carrying a separate spare for the trailer. Plus, it'll give me more ground clearance. Will need to see if I have to flip my axle or not to see if it'll fit.
