Well, the time has come to part ways with my beloved Silver. This vehicle was purchased with the intention of having my dream rig while building my credit to be able to Maltec convert it; to live in full time. To keep forever. Life has taken me in different directions as I successfully secured a work visa in Australia and will be moving soon. That said the bank does have the title. However, I have their wire info ready to go. As soon as I get payment, I/we can go to the bank immediately to get it. So Silver needs a new home, hopefully just as adventurous. When I found it, it was almost too good to be true. So now...
The good:
-ALL dealer service records, carfax, and receipts printed out and in folder. Purchased at 130k miles. Exclusively dealer maintained before me.
-Georgia cream puff before me. Have done moderate trails, nothing past slider territory. Always driven with utmost mechanical sympathy and aired down as frequently as possible.
-Fully washed and polished with NuFinish at least 4x a year in my ownership. Rinsed regularly in winter to remove road grime underneath.
-Replaced AHC fluid 8k miles ago as preventative maintenance
-Stock wheels and tires replaced with EvoCorse DakarZero Matte Black +40 offset wrapped in 285/70r17 C Load BFG KO2s with about 13k miles on them. No matching spare as MainLine Overland only had four wheels at the time and never got around to ordering a fifth.
-Custom drawer system/sleeping platform. Seven ply Baltic birch under catalyzed laquer with 42 inch ball bearing slides rated at 300lbs fully extended with side flaps
-Stock headlight bulbs replaced with Hikari H11 LEDs when one bulb went out. Much better light IMO and not super white, definitely not blue.
-Weathertech mats front and middle.
-Nalgene cup holder and phone holder/wireless charger included.
-Tint matched front windows.
The bad and ugly:
-Side steps are bent (obviously). All AHC hardware and harnesses underneath are completely unscathed. Was waiting for this to happen so I could get sliders. Got on Slee's email list soon as it happened and haven't heard anything yet. Can be cut off, replaced with sliders, or LC rocket panels.
-Very minor chin and butt scratches
-Foglights haven't worked since purchase and never cared enough to replace.
-Passenger mirror hasn't folded in since purchase. Adjustment and defrost still works great.
-Two barely noticeable tiny dents and scratch in the driver rear C pillar.
Aside from the "ugly" stuff, everything works well and as you'd expect. Very sad to sell as I was planning on keeping it forever, but, that's life. PM me here or email me at jalilburdeen@gmail.com. I'll give you my number from there.
