looking for old series and airportable rovers, willy's, CJ's, sammy's, military, FJ's, jeeps, or anything else in this category.

loaded up, towing a trailer, roof racks, or whatever.

nice truck but this is more what i was looking for, an actual softop. i really would not consider the S10 a softtop although that is a nice softtopper on the back.

is it possible for a moderator to move this into the expedition vehicles section, i am not sure if this is the right category for this posting.

Are you looking for military vehicles with soft tops? Maybe a military vehicle restoration forum like Steel Soldiers is where you'll have better luck.

Sorry to have wasted your time, but it really is canvas behind the solid cab. Honest. Good luck with your quest and you still might have better luck with Steel Soldiers...

no worries, steel soldiers is great but i want more than just military. and most of those guys dont overland their trucks.

Sasaholic, its a "softtopper" not a soft top and doesnt fit the requested criteria

Disregard the non-sano Jerry-can mounting (it only fell off once!). This was a 8-9 day trip through the Panamint/Saline/Death Valleys and the Mojave Road. Two guys and all their stuff.
