Designed and built for a multi-continent overland trip – equally at home on more local adventures!

UK BASED: My 2015 Hilux is for sale, it’s been converted into an Overland Camper in mid to late 2024 to do a trip to Europe, The Balkans, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Scandinavia, Iceland and North Africa. I have had to cut the trip short for personal reasons. However, the Hilux did 8000 miles over 4 months and never missed a beat.

I have owned the car for 4 years and I have known it since it was 6 months old. It’s never been used commercially and is in outstanding condition.

Furthermore, every single modification and preventative maintenance item has been thought through to make this the easiest dual cab pick up to live out of on an overland trip, off grid. It’s been built with massive OCD and sometimes re-worked modifications again and again to get it right.

The result has been a wonderfully easy vehicle to live out of, to get off grid but with little compromise regarding on road stability and ease of getting through massive road miles.

It’s a reluctant and genuine reason for selling, but it was built for a purpose and is 100% ready for its next adventure. Just been serviced again at 138k miles.

Not including the bast vehicle I have spent just over £35,000 on this build. It you add a good, base vehicle you could add another £15k at least, before all the preventative stuff is done.

Total around £50,000. So, it “owes” me a LOT of money but I am being realistic about my asking price of £27,000 and I can deliver anywhere in the UK if needed.

It is the most well thought out vehicle I have seen, and it’s a pleasure to travel in and live out of.
