Here's a random request but I promise that, should this work out, I'll explain myself. :ylsmoke:
The cup holders on the 2004-2012 GMC Canyon or Chevy Colorado (I believe either front or rear) slide onto a metal tab when installed in place. Here's my question, could someone who owns one of these trucks please slide the cup holder off that tab, measure the width of the tab and let me know how wide it is?
The cup holder in question can be see here (in the front):

I think I may have discovered a way to repurpose these cup holders, but I need some measurements to be sure. Thanks folks!
