I have a 2012 Ford F150 that I would like to put a "pack rack" style rack over the bed to haul kayaks and other long gear, not looking to put a RTT on it. I'd like to have the rack bars the same height as the cab, for wind resistance while it is unloaded, but with the stackers on Kayaks and boards can clear the cab. I've been looking through here an I see All Pro Offroad down in Victor makes some sweet racks for Toyota's, but not domestic trucks (https://www.allprooffroad.com/tech-info-mainmenu-63/pack-rack/tundra-pack-rack). I've got a truxedo tonneau so none of the Thule kind of racks will work and I don't like the look of the lumber style racks. Is anyone aware of any manufacturer of a pack rack style rack for domestics or am I looking for a custom rack? I liek that the All Pro guys have the welded nut inserts for attaching gear and accessories on the side, perhaps I'll call them and see if they can fab one up or modify one of their tundra racks to fit a ford....
