Palomino Soft-Side owner reviews

Hi,

I'm considering the purchase of a new Palomino SS-1608 or SS-1251. I have read about Palomino quality problems in earlier models and have also read that many of those issues have been corrected in the newer ones.

I'm looking for feedback from some folks who actually own or have owned a palomino pop-up camper, how do you use the camper, what sort of terrain do you travel on and how has it held up?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

can't speak to the palimino line but I have great experience with my northstar tc650. good luck with your purchase.

The ones built in the last few years since Forest River bought the company are way better. They're worth a look. I looked at a new ss1500 but it was a a little small for us. They're all aluminum framed now and everything looked to be good quality (for an RV).
