Passed the test

Hi all,
I passed the Technician test on Saturday and am waiting for my call sign. I bought a radio and hope to connect it up next week.

I look forward to getting into this.

Thanks guys. yeah, the test wasn't bad at all. I read the Gordon West book and took the test a week later. I also took some online practice tests which really helped.

I missed 2 answers but I thought I had missed 5.

Now I have to wire up my radio and then figure out how to use it.

Congrats Steve! I also took my technician test on Saturday (missed 3). Did you check the FCC website for your call sign? Mine was put up on Tues.

http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls/index.htm?job=home

Just hit 'license search' on the left hand side. Then search 'by name' and type in your last name, first name and you should have your call sign.

Yeah, our call signs are quite close. I guess that is what they meant on the test about them being sequential.

Congrats to all of you! I've been trying to get around to taking my test for well over a month now, but I never seem to have the time to study for it with all my regular homework. I think on my vacation next week I'm going to force myself to do at least one of the online tests a day so by the time I come back I'm ready! :REOutArchery02:
