It's essentially just a bunch of stacked boxes but that simplicity is really what makes it so functional. I have sketches of a frame with 'truck boxes' attached that nets the same design. But for me, even the half-dozen truck boxes were too expensive, although still cheaper than an imported Aussie or S.A. trailer. Obviously, if I bent my own boxes, it could be done cheaper. The design requires some sheet stock to bridge some gaps, so the materials are there. There are a few metal-working companies that could act as the supplier, and I could just assemble. Anyway, IMO it's not that difficult to put together something for yourselves.

AdventureHare, I've been working on a trailer design as well. Are the Patriot X1 boxes literally just riveted together or is there more to it than that? They mention that the monocoque boxes are interlocked, but I don't see where they would be. Doesn't appear there is any frame internally either. Interesting
