I bought and sold two M416's this past fall, but yesterday I bought another one! I go it for an Eddiestone1917 and a Browning SA.22 with a little coin on top. The Plus its in Perfect condition parade ready is the sell put it. The only down side it so nice I'm not sure I want to turn it into an Expo Trailer so I might try to work a trade with someone down the line. It is however really tempting to just paint it white and Black put on some bigger fenders and the 285 75 I have siting in my Car Port and call it a day.

I picked up the trailer last night and got it home. It's in great shaper the PO had some supports added to hold up the tarp on it and he drilled some holes in all 4 corner to drain it, but aside form that it ready to go. Not sure what my plan it but it lines up with my coupler perfect right now so no lift fro sure. I would like to put Moab on it to match my JK but I don't know with the hight perfect right now.

Best Paint options? I want thinking POR 15 on the Frame but I really don't want to sand blast, On the tub I want just going to do like 5 coats of Rustoleum glossy white and then Herculiner the inside and Under side in black. For tires I'm just going to look for some used BFG AT in 225/75R16 and put them on the stock rims then call it a day. Then be done until next your when I'm going to have a friend in Vegas Build me a lid like the ones on the Sierra Trailers.

I got the spacers of eBay for $60 shipped. If they were going on anything but a trailer I would hold out for Spidertrax spacers but on a Trailer I'm okay with them.

Fred Goeske at Wheeladapter.com will make you a pair of the sweetest adapters you've ever seen...from your M416's 5x5.5" pattern 7/16" studs with that big honking bearing cap sticking out of the face to 5x5" pattern 1/2" studs and hubcentric face specifically for Jeep JK or just about anything you want. These things are like artwork and Fearless Fred is the best.

I'll be honest after I got home one Friday and tryed on the wheel spacers I got, I really don't like how far the wheel sticks out. Just to much backspace. Has anyone tryed swapping the drum for a 5 on 5 drum???

If not that I'm just going to stick with the stock wheels.

There was a guy on the M416 yahoo group that can re-drill the stock hubs and drum to accept the 5x5. I just ordered a custom dexter axle to the length I wanted but then found out that I still needed spacers to have the rubicon rims to clear the dexter hubs.
