Oh I would have to talk them down on the price. I really do like that NATO white and it looks to be great shape. Man I want and there no 99s in my area.

If you really want a 99, be patient and one will come along. Took me 6 months to find one I was comfortable buying.

Yeah...I loved my Gen1 - I had an 89 LWB. But, if you really want a 99, be patient. There are several 99's around here if you're willing to travel a bit.

Definitely wouldn't shell out his asking price, but keep in mind anyone that often sells anything on cl is used to being haggled so it could be why it's so high.. and I'm sorry, but I would get the 1 gen lwb in a heartbeat. I love my 89 raider so much it's ridiculous. With a push bar, roof rack, and a little suspension work they make the perfect utility vehicle!

just keep a look out. I picked up a '99 earlier this year for less than his asking price. I did have to drive a 20 hour round trip to pick it up, and had to put about 500 in parts toward it right away, and do a bunch of work. Head gasket was blown, timing belt pulleys had thrown their bearings, water pump was seized up, valve seals were leaking.... took a bit of a risk as well.... but so far it's been smooth sailing..... tempted to buy another (if I can find one at a great price) and ditch my wife's car, and the payment along with it!

I would buy something that clean in a second if it were near me. You guys out west have no idea how damn lucky you are when it comes to both quantity and quality of rides. :safari-rig:

Drop the price by $1K and swap in a grey interior. Would be a good place to start. I'd consider swapping my '92 for something like this.
