Love your LC Brian! The Oregon coast is amazing... I've been to the Portland/Spokane area once for a job. Spent 2 weeks in the area and got to do just enough sight-seeing to whet my appetite. Beautiful country up there... and your LC fits right in.

Read the Wikipedia article on the Peter Iredale... really neat. Shipwrecks are so fascinating to me... can't explain it but I love to see pics of them.

The past couple of months have been amazing for shipwrecks. Some of the rough weather the area has been having is uncovering a lot of stuff that was thought either long gone or covered.

I am a member of the Gearhart fire department

next time you are in the Gearhart area stop by the fire chiefs office in the back of city hall.
and ask if you can see the Unimog!! um... FireMog...
I'm sure he would be happy to let you check it out!
we love to show it off,,
