Easter Jeep looked crazy this year. Driving into town I saw some long-term campers a stone's throw alining Hwy 191 where camp sites on any normal weekend would not exist.

It's chill here (figuratively and literally) despite the outrageous damage done not seemingly by Jeeps, but rather a parallel ATV-fest. What hammer does it take to keep people off the living soil I don't know. And what's with the ATV crowd, seriously?

With wee ones, long trail runs are quite the exception. The norm is short jaunts, always with destinations. Always with sand. Thus today the sand dunes were the destination.

Prior to the dunes, and with some Moab virgins along for the ride, Fins & Things were the appetizer. We took the wife's UZJ100 to Moab this time, and she got a few cases of rock rash. Looks like ARB is on the wife's Holiday list, I can't possibly imagine she'd actually want jewelry and something more meaningful! And maybe some sliders too as Steel Bender was living to it's name in the mild Hundy.

Ahhh, the boo-dump-tuk returns to the dunes of Moab. Sweet.....:smiley_drive:

The 2200 too big for the Hundy?

Windy today. No condo tent this time, 1) I'm not quite sure how to tranfer the tent easily between vehicles, and 2) I don't have any roof rack for the Hundy. I do so wish to be outside camping though.

We settled for the Baby Lion's Back this morning.

It's so cool watching how keen and clever a 3 year old is when off-road. He can point out where not to go and to stay away from that ``alive soil.'' Good boy. I've got a new backseat spotter.

nice pictures scott. It's great to see kids learning and enjoying the great outdoors.

The lower wash of Upper Helldorado did the Hundy in, as well as the short-cut run on Hells Revenge. Sliders are badly needed. The stock running boards have taken their share of abuse.

Here's a little love for some 3F-E Powa' and a suprisingly deeper Lake Michigan.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the great pictures.

Too bad you had to "rough it" though without the roof-top condo .

Pretty cool that you're able to take the whole family with you and enjoy it together, very nice indeed.

I bet those dump-tuks have been more places than a lot of our trucks.

Thanks for sharing a little from your trip Scott.

Cheers,

TD
