FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Superwinch Rock 95 Conquers Extreme Terrain

Designed for Competitive Rock Crawling

Putnam, Connecticut, November 22, 2008 –– Superwinch, Inc. has introduced the Rock 95 winch rock crawling winch. The Rock 95 is a lightweight, EXTREME low profile, narrow winch that fits in between the rails of Rock Crawling Rigs, with an industry-leading rating of 9,500 pounds and multiple mounting options.

Designed with the brake outside the drum to reduce rope melting heat build up, the Rock 95 comes with, 50 feet of synthetic rope, heavy-duty anodized aluminum hawse, Gunnebo TM latched hook, and Superwinch’s exclusive S3 Sealed Submersible Solenoid with 3-year Warranty (the best in the industry). All mechanical components on the Rock 95 are also protected by the company’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The 3 installation configurations relate to the location of the solenoid control box. While the winch will be delivered with the box installed to the left facing, over the motor (Off-Set Configuration), the customer will have the option and the wiring kits to place this component directly over the drum (Center-Line Configuration), or installed a few inches away from the winch (Competition Configuration), as professional Rock Crawlers will tend to do.

For 39 years, Superwinch has produced AC and DC electric and hydraulic winches, mounting kits, 4wd locking hubs and winching accessories for racing trailers, vehicle recovery, off-road, ATV and industrial uses, plus power drive systems for the truck tarping industry. For more information, contact Superwinch at 860-928-7787 or visit the company website at www.superwinch.com.

This would be perfect for building a rear bumper with a winch. Nice and small, but able to get the job done. Just carry the extra length of rope sometimes needed in the form of winch extensions.
