Hey, before I sell this thing to some idiot on CL or FB, I guess I should post my truck here in case anyone is looking for a pretty clean first gen dakota.

- 94 Dakota SLT Club Cab
- 3.9 V6, RWD
- I am the second owner, first owner was a pastor who kept it garaged so the paint is fairly nice. He did not wash the undercarriage very well so the undersides are crusty, and there is some rust on the front fenders. The cab is pretty clean, as is the box, a few bubbles but super solid compared to most of them out there. See photos. Also has a factory plastic slip in bed liner. I pulled this out when I had the topper off, and the box is very clean, no rust holes.
- In the past 5k miles, I have given the 3.9 a tuneup, plugs, oil, filter, rear shocks, new rear exhaust, new muffler, new brake pads, and I have the front shocks sitting in a box that will go with the truck. New gas tank straps, and new fuel pump/filter and sending unit. New wipers as well.
- Replaced tires with Kumho AT51, really awesome tires that is comfortable/quiet on the highway, but great traction offroad, and SNOW RATED. With two sandbags in the back it was fine in winter, though I did not drive it very often.
- Heat, AC, Cruise, Stereo, all work fine no issues
- Added Hella 500FF driving spots on the front bumper, comes with covers, no cracks
- Rear high rise topper by Century, factory correct paint color to match truck. Topper has a compression seal, so there are NOT two sets of glass into the bed, only the rear glass of the cab itself. This is nice because if you keep your dog in the back, you can leave the rear window open without tons of wind noise/buffeting on the freeway.
- Topper has curtain rods and curtains installed
- Built a custom 3 piece raised bed platform, that sits on the factory 2x4 cross beam mounts. Made out of baltic birch, sealed with polycrylic, it allows you to have a ton of storage under the platform and still fit a full size mattress. The sections are removable for easy storage, and you can slide the center panel rearwards to gain access to any items you are storing at the front of the bed
- Interior is clean other than a small tear in the side vinyl of the driver's seat. Foam is great.
- When I replaced the gas tank straps, I pulled the box off the truck. Since I had the box off, I wire wheeled the chassis, hit it with a coat of Xtend rust reformer, then 2 coats of rustoleum brush on enamel to help protect it.
- Added a class 3 hitch and trailer plug.

Issues:
- Slight exhaust rattle; I think it's a heat shield.
- Compression seal on topper leaks in heavy rain. Probably needs some more silicone. It used to seal perfectly.

I would not hesitate to drive this thing anywhere. My GF has been using it almost daily to haul her bikes around. I am located 30 minutes north of Milwaukee.

Photos from when I replaced the fuel pump/filter/sending unit. Gas gauge worked for a week then stopped again. :\
