Not to highjack your post, but while bumping it, may I ask what setup are you looking at for your growing family? Also, was a Taco doable for a family of 4 or would you rather do full size if you were to re-do it?

The Taco was great with a family of 4! We even fit a dog, but that was pushing it. Our boys were in car seats as well, so that was additional space being taken up. We debated the full-size truck, but in the end, I'm happy that we chose the Tacoma. I wouldn't change it looking back. We lived in it for nearly 6 months and it worked just fine. Our next vehicle is a 4x4 ambulance that we're currently converting. It definitely won't be able to go all the places that Tacoma did, but it will still allow us to get to some pretty sweet spots

Hello, We're in West Michigan. We love this set up, and see getting back to this type of setup after the kids are older. I personally don't have information on whether it would fit in a 2024 Tacoma, but I can't imagine why not. I'd check the bed dimensions (especially the distance between the wheel wells) and compare with the dimensions listed on Alu-cab's website for the Khaya 4 sleeper.
