problems I don't understand

The facts: 2008 4dr rubicon auto 107 k 33's 3 inch ome lift. 50 k on the lift,
65 k on falken tires. Daily driver work off road some of the time don't abuse the jeep tow a tent trailer 2xs a year.

OK well here goes. I have know I had a small leak in the transmission line to the cooler according to the dealer he says not covered by the lifetime warranty, Just a few drips irritating but nothing more, saving for an after market cooler. Recommendations

Drive form San Diego to san clemente for work 3 -4 times a week
about a 2 weeks ago The check engine light comes on and the lightning bolt in parenthesis also ( manual says drive by wire) pull over look it up thinking oh ___ , turn it off and it restarts just fine but check engine is on.

Trany fluid is low.

Next day drop in at JL they top it off read the code and tell me its an
o2 sensor then they reset the code. no problems for 2 weeks just the drip drip drip....................................

Get the registration in the mail go to get it smogged and the results are OBDII oxygen sensor not ready, then the word Catalyst, The guy says you have to drive it for a while so it will be ready ****** I put nearly a 1000 miles on it after the the code how can it not be ready.

A few more days go by and I start feeling what I think is my driveshaft vibration a low thrumming sound that fills the cab at about 13-1500 rpm at usually low speeds. at first just a couple of incidences but now more and more. Not the death wobble I have had that before it is not the same.

Is there a question here?

Find where leak is. Fix leak.
Fill transmission with fluid.
Replace downstream O2 sensor. Check catalytic converter. Replace upstream O2 sensor if necessary.
Check driveshaft u-joints and centering ball.

You want the engine to be at operating temperature, so the cat has time to heat up and actually do something. You want it hot.

About the only thing I can offer at this point is the Cat system (check engine) light.. and seeing how you're driving an 08.. it may fall into a Fed gov law which states that if the cat system fails.. it's covered under a 8 year / 80K mile warranty.. I would make sure you have the error code checked just to make sure it is this issue.. But if the Cat system has not been replaced.. I suspect this could at least one of your issues.. Happened to us, so could be your issue.. Got a new cat sys in less than 5 hours direct from the dealer.. and if it goes out again.. we'll just get a new one.. assuming it goes out within the next 2 years..
