Question about trailer shackles

Best I can tell the only way to get these shackles to move forward is to relocate the front hanger. Is this correct or is there some other trick? This trailer ended up squatting down more than I anticipated. Dont like the shackle angle much, and more importantly the tire is no longer in the center of the fender. Thanks.shackle.jpg

You could also weld a shackle mount to the rear cross member. That would keep your wheels centered in the fender vs. moving the the front mount forward.

Yes you could move the front forward to center the wheel. This will help bring the shackle closer to 45 degrees. Best solution is shorter higher arch springs. The guys at Atlas Springs can make whatever springs you need and will help you configure your spring.

If you do much rugged terrain with that setup you are going to damage those springs and it severely limits your take off angle. You are going to end up dragging the springs across the rocks..
